Custom Designed Services for Food Processors

At Environmental Micro Analysis we use our years of experience in testing a broad range of processed foods and agricultural commodities for pesticide residues to help you design the quality assurance program that fits your needs. Our experience allows us to help you prepare a customized testing program to limit testing to only those tests necessary, thus saving your precious testing dollars. Testing programs can be designed around those compounds which may be especially sensitive, i.e. FQPA impacted pesticides, Proposition 65 chemicals, substances which were contained in the National Academy of Sciences report on Pesticides in the Diets of Infants and Children, or customized to fit the concerns of the target segment of your customers. This part of our service is provided at no charge to you.

We also provide periodic reviews and summaries of the results of our testing. These summaries can be provided quarterly, semi-annually or annually, or customized to fit your particular season. Of course, these summaries are provided to you free of charge.

Of critical concern to food processors are pesticide residues where over-tolerance issues are concerned. EMA follows strict QA/QC procedures as outlined in our QA/QC documents. These procedures include standard second column confirmation for all pesticide residues for Gas Chromatographic methods. In addition to our standard quality assurance program, extraordinary measures are employed where tolerance issues are raised. In the instances where tolerance is in question, a second sample extraction and GC/MS confirmation are performed, where possible, at no additional cost to the client. EMA performs these extra value items to demonstrate our commitment to the needs and concerns of our clients.
